Indoor Playground Shipping & Delivery

From Our Factory to Your Door — Safe, Fast, and Worldwide

Shipping an indoor playground is no small task. These are large, complex projects with hundreds — sometimes thousands — of components. We’ve been shipping playground equipment globally for over 30 years, with products installed in more than 100 countries. Our logistics team knows exactly how to pack, protect, and deliver your playground safely, anywhere in the world.

Production Lead Times

Order Type Production Time Notes
Standard Products 15–30 days Applies to approximately 80% of orders
Custom Structures 25–45 days Larger or highly customized projects
Trampoline Parks 30–45 days Includes all trampoline mats, frames, and accessories
Ninja Warrior Courses 20–35 days Custom course designs may vary

Lead times begin after design approval and receipt of payment. Production timelines will be confirmed in your order contract.

Pre-Shipment Preparation

Before your playground leaves our factory, we go through a thorough preparation process:

✅ Trial Assembly

All iron and plastic parts are trial-assembled at our factory to verify fit and function. This catches potential issues before shipping — not on your site.

✅ Pre-Drilled & Pre-Marked

  • All pipes are numbered to match the 3D installation diagram
  • Holes are pre-drilled for connecting parts (tubes, slides, bridges, etc.)
  • Tube slides are shipped as one piece when space allows; otherwise, they are separated and clearly marked

✅ Photo Documentation

We take detailed photos of the assembled playground before disassembly and packaging. These are sent to you for review before the final payment is due.

✅ 3D Installation Diagram

Within 5 business days of order confirmation, we send you the 3D installation diagram — your visual guide for assembling the playground on-site. Every numbered part in the diagram corresponds to a real, labeled component.

✅ Organized Packing

Same-material parts are grouped together for efficient unpacking:

  • Plastic parts packed with plastic parts
  • Steel pipes bundled together
  • EVA mats stacked and wrapped
  • Soft play components organized by zone
  • Hardware (bolts, screws, connectors) bagged and labeled by assembly step

Packaging Standards

We use a multi-layer packaging system to ensure zero damage during transit:

Layer 1: Component Protection

  • Metal pipes — Wrapped in protective film or foam, bundled with steel straps
  • Plastic parts — Wrapped in stretch film and bubble wrap
  • Soft play panels — Compressed, vacuum-sealed in PE bags, then wrapped
  • EVA mats — Shrink-wrapped in bundles
  • Safety nets — Folded and packed in woven bags
  • Electronics — Packed in original manufacturer boxes with anti-static protection
  • Small hardware — Bagged, labeled, and boxed

Layer 2: Container Loading

  • Components are loaded using space-optimization software to maximize container capacity and minimize shipping costs
  • Heavy items at the bottom, lighter items on top
  • Fragile components secured with wooden braces and corner protectors
  • Empty spaces filled with air bags to prevent shifting during transit

Layer 3: Container Sealing

  • Containers are inspected for structural integrity before loading
  • Desiccant packs placed inside to control moisture
  • Container sealed with numbered security seals
  • Photos taken of loaded containers for documentation

Shipping Methods

🚢 Sea Freight (Most Common)

Best for large orders and international shipping.

  • FCL (Full Container Load) — Ideal for full playground projects
    • 20GP container: ~28–32 CBM
    • 40GP container: ~58–62 CBM
    • 40HQ container: ~68–72 CBM
  • LCL (Less than Container Load) — Available for smaller orders or spare parts

✈️ Air Freight

For urgent spare parts or small components.

  • Faster delivery (3–7 days)
  • Higher cost — suitable for critical replacement parts
  • Available upon request

🚛 Land/Door-to-Door

In select regions, we offer door-to-door delivery including customs clearance.

Shipping Documents

We provide all necessary shipping documents for customs clearance:

  • 📄 Commercial Invoice — Itemized list of goods with values
  • 📄 Packing List — Detailed breakdown of contents per package/container
  • 📄 Bill of Lading (B/L) — Official shipping document
  • 📄 Certificate of Origin — Required by some countries
  • 📄 Customs Declaration — Harmonized System (HS) codes for all items
  • 📄 Insurance Certificate — If shipping insurance is purchased

Documents are sent via DHL courier or Telex Release (electronic) based on your preference.

Delivery Terms (Incoterms)

We support the following international trade terms:

Term Description
EXW (Ex Works) Buyer arranges pickup from our factory
FOB (Free on Board) We deliver to the port of loading; buyer handles ocean freight
CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) We cover shipping and insurance to the destination port
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Door-to-door delivery including customs and duties (select regions)

Your preferred term will be specified in the sales contract.

Shipping Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for your order. Insurance covers:

  • Damage during transit
  • Loss or theft
  • Natural disaster-related losses
  • Port handling accidents

Insurance typically costs 0.3–0.5% of the goods’ value — a small price for complete peace of mind.

FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: How long does it take to receive my playground?

A: Total delivery time = production lead time (15–45 days depending on order type) + sea freight transit time (7–45 days depending on destination). Most international orders arrive within 45–75 days from order confirmation.

Q2: How is the playground packaged for shipping?

A: Each component is individually protected — pipes are wrapped and bundled, plastic parts are foam-wrapped, soft play items are vacuum-sealed, and hardware is bagged and labeled. Everything is then strategically loaded into containers to maximize space and prevent damage.

Q3: What shipping documents do you provide?

A: We provide commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and customs declaration documents. These are sent via DHL courier or Telex Release.

Q4: Can you ship to my country?

A: We ship to over 100 countries worldwide. If your country isn’t listed, contact us — we’ll find a solution.

Q5: Who handles customs clearance?

A: Under FOB and CIF terms, the buyer handles customs clearance at the destination port. Under DDP, we handle everything door-to-door. We provide all necessary documents to facilitate smooth clearance.

Q6: What if parts are damaged during shipping?

A: First, photograph the damage and report it to us within 48 hours. If you have shipping insurance, file a claim. We will ship replacement parts as quickly as possible at no cost to you.

Q7: Can I track my shipment?

A: Yes. We provide the bill of lading number and container tracking information so you can monitor your shipment’s progress throughout transit.

Q8: How many containers will my order need?

A: This depends on the size and scope of your playground. Our logistics team calculates the optimal container configuration and shares it with you before shipping. Small projects may fit in a 20GP container; large projects may require multiple 40HQ containers.

Q9: Do you offer shipping insurance?

A: Yes. We strongly recommend it and can arrange coverage on your behalf. The cost is typically 0.3–0.5% of the goods’ value.

Q10: Can I use my own freight forwarder?

A: Absolutely. If you have a preferred freight forwarder, we’ll coordinate with them for pickup, loading, and documentation.

Q11: What happens if my container is delayed at port?

A: Port delays can happen due to customs inspections, congestion, or documentation issues. We provide all correct documents to minimize this risk. If delays occur, we’ll assist with any documentation needed to resolve the situation.

Q12: How are spare parts shipped?

A: Spare parts are typically shipped via air freight for speed or consolidated with other orders for cost savings. Small parts (hardware, connectors) can be sent via express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS).
